Summer Trim Down Series Week 2 Day 13


HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO WEEKEND!!!

      If you are celebrating this fun weekend, make sure you are staying on track with the SUMMER SERIES:)
If you plan on going out to the Mexican Festival or Restaurant, try to stick to clean foods. Many people consider Mexican food as the most fattening food. But i do not agree. I consider it a pretty healthy option to go to. In my opinion, we are the ones making healthy choices and there are plenty of options to pick from. For example, you can always get a salad. I love my salad with lettuce, black beans, grilled chicken, salsa, guacamole and corn. You can also add brown rice:) STAY AWAY FROM cheese, sour cream, chips, white rice and white tortillas.
Feel free to create your own healthy burritos at home if you are having people over. Instead of white tortilla use either whole wheat wrap or even better, romaine lettuce:) These can be such great appetizers.

Before going all out, make sure to get the workout in:) This will be your last workout this week so PUSH YOURSELF EXTRA HARD!!! If you need some motivation, Just Think of Margaritas you are going to consume and burn off those extra calories:))

Our Workout is AB CIRCUIT:

Burpees - 60 sec
Reverse Crunches 30 sec 
Mountain Climbers - 60 sec
Flutter Kicks - 30 sec
Burpees - 60 sec
Lying Leg Lifts - 30 sec
Mountain Climbers - 60 sec
Bicycle Crunches - 30 sec
Burpees - 60 sec
Plank - 60 sec
Mountain Climbers - 60 sec
Crunches - 30 sec
Burpees - 60 sec
Side Plank - 30 sec
Mountain Climbers - 60 sec
Russian Twists - 30 sec
Burpees - 60 sec
Obligue V-Ups - 30 sec

REPEAT ONE MORE TIME for a 30 min workout. For extra challenge, run 1 mile in the evening:)
